trest chair

Consisting of two separate parts – the black stained oak skeletton and the inlaying seat shell – trest is a chair of subtle contrasts.

While the former is built out of slim braces, 3D plywood allows the latter to be a smoothly shaped surface: The industrial rigor of the framework opposes the soft and flowing inner design. Together the two components form an elegant and calm piece of furniture highlighting the unique qualities of wood.
