berg is a modern stackable wooden chair with a half-height backrest, which uses the formal possibilities of CNC wood milling. Its straightforward construction leaves room for subtle details: the chair’s narrow struts are characterized by their unilaterally flattened profile, creating a clear division of interior and exterior surfaces. The inner seating area thus seems to be cut out of the frame and appears inviting and comfortable. By combining traditional and contemporary features, berg fits into different environments and styles.
